Espoir d' Uance competed today for the first time at 1.30m level . He did it very well, only one fence down. It was a really heavy course for this young horse.
Zombra and I went to Exloo today to compete at Z2 level. Zombra did her job very well, she was so easy to ride today, but I ......... I have to exercise the Z2 test more and better. It was my fault, that we did not get 60% today !
After visiting his younger brother Henri d' Usance we went to Geesteren to see Espoir d' Usance compeeting with rider Maurice Stevens at 1.20m . He jumped a clear round and since the course was directly on time, he came 9th. Maurice prefered a super clear round above a race-round . Well done Maurice.
Today we visited Team Nijhof stables to see Henri d' Usance, our 3 year old stallion by Clinton out of our mare Usance. I was very satisfied what this beautiful talented jumper showed me. He jumped very well. After the summer we will brooke him in. Till then he can enjoy summerholiday.
Today it was the day of the Grand Prix 1.50m CSI *** Zangersheide . Huge fences , 3 m water fence , technical very heavy. But homebred Art d' Usance with rider Emma Slater did their job very well . Only one down and a small step in the water. It was amazing !!!! We never will know who was the most stressed , the owner Mark Haines, rider Emma Slater of breeder (me) for this round at 1.50m level, his first time. But why ? Homebred Art d' Usance jumped his course fabulous. Only one fence down, but they did it so well, amazing !! Congratulations Emma and MarkEmma Slater decided to compeet in the class 1.45-1.50m yesterday. Art d' Usance was fenomenal, only one down right after the only moment he was still a little bit too strong. Emma and his owner Mark Haines and offcourse we all were very satisfied with him at this *** level. Homebred Art d' Usance and rider Emma Slater compeetet today in the beautiful sunny main Ratina Arena. it was a beautiful course and we all thought it would be a clear round, so confident and high he jumped. Sadly they had one down. He just slightly touched it and it fell, very unlucky, they jumped an excellent round!!! He showed, that with a litlle more experience he will compeet at 1.50m in the near future. Congratulations Emma and owner Mark Haines. He just slightly touched it and it fell, very unlucky, they jumped an excellent round!!! |
