Aniek Jansen and Cent Carats came 4th today in the GMB Competition jumping show 6-7 yr old. They were double clear and....... Cent Carats was the best 6yr old horse !!!
We made a citytrip to Rome. To see all the historical buildings of course, but it was also a good opportunity to meet Carla and Tolida, mother of our Zombra Tolida. Carla was so helpfull to pick us up from the airport. We met her teacher Vicky during a fantastic diner together with Vicky's Partner and Carla. The next day we went to the stables. Tolida is a beautiful mare, and I think she is very happy there. Carla together with her teacher Vicky do a great job. A several days later Carla picked us up for dinner together with her partner in a typical Roman (not for tourists) restaurant and showed is Rome by night. It was beautiful. Carla, again , thanks for the hospitality and I hope, Tolida will stay at your place till death. Yesterday we had the second selectionday for the Esperadocup at Beilen. Ellini and rider Cecile Smit came first in the first test (L2 level) with 200 points and came third in the second test with 201 points. Well done.
A clear round and 4 faults in the jump off for Cent Carats at Laag Soeren GMB Competition. Aniek Jansen was super satisfied with him and very disappointed about her own fault in the jump off. Cent Carats jumped very well.
I got some nice pics of Espoir d' Usance during training. It is only several months ago rider Maurice Stevens strarted the training with this 4 yr old Quintender son.
Yesterday evening Art d' Usance started Foxhunter 1.45m at HOYS Birmingham with rider Emma Slater. The had 2 down, came 14 out of 28 . But, for a 8 yr old gelding between international cracks, it was well done. Rider Emma Slater just told me, that Art d' Usance jumped the 1.45m Grand Prix (Solihull) for clear yesterday and 1 down in the jump off. They were super pleased with him.
For the first time on a show, yesterday, at Exloo. Espoir d' Usance was cool, looked around as if he was there before. He jumped the very little fences so easy. We were very satisfied. |
