It was quite a hot day, nearly 30 degrees Celsius, but since it was a little bit windy, the weather conditions were good . Cini did her job very very well at Z1 level, but the rider made some mistakes, although the feeling was so good. The score was very disappointing for mee. It was disappointing because of the very positive points te jury wroted on the formular , as 'very talented horse' and ' very good trot' . Only one test was good enough for a winningpoint. So, forget as soon as possible the score and stay thinking of the good feeling she gave.
We went to CH Roden, very nearby our homeplace. The weather was beautiful, the showground was beautiful. And Cini did her job very well. In the first test Z1 we scored 62,06% and in the second test 61,62% . In both tests we came 5th. We make a big progress in our performance during the training with trainer Laura Zwart, now we are working on it to show it during the tests.
Rider and owner Maurice Stevens sent me a picture of homebred Gypsy d' Usance , 6 year old. It is a very talented girl with a lot of scope.
I went to Marum to show up at CH Westerkwartier with Cini. We had a nearly 60% and a 61,5% at Z1 level. So we had one winningpoint today. Very glad wit her.
Rider Emma Slater was very pleased with the double clear round of homebred Art d' Usance in the International Stairway Devon County Show. They came second. Very well done. Congratulations owner Mark Haines and rider Emma Slater.
Espoir d' Usance and Gypsy d' Usance showed up at Outdoor Zuidwolde, at the beautiful showground of Stal Broek.
Maurice Stevens and Espoir d' Espoir came 5 th after a very fast clear round at ZZ level (1.35m) in a very big class (over 50 competitors). Maurice and Gypsy d' Usance came first after the fastest clear round at 1.20m . Very well done, it was a extra big class, over 100 competitors. Maurice decided to start in the Grand Prix 1.40m . They never started before in such a heavy round. Even professional riders told it was a very heavy 1.40m . Due to the lack of experience they had some down, but they showed both, that they can jump this level. The 5 year old grey gelding Henri d' Usance ( Clinton x Mermus R ) is sold. We hope, he can show his jump talent a lot in the future.
